We have been working on learning and matching colors around here lately and I wanted to share some of it with you all. One of the activities we have been working on is so simple to create and was always a favorite in classrooms and my son loves it. I’ll let the pictures do the explaining on this one:
We store the puff balls in an old water bottle when we’re not using them and when it’s time to clean up or start the activity he loves getting the puff balls in and out of the bottle! Our next step will be sorting using tweezers and not our fingers. Currently we’re working on sorting just using the pincer grasp and not the entire hand.
Happy color time!
