Wow! What a busy time the last few weeks have been. I went back to work and feel like I haven’t stopped since then. We had something going on every evening for 10 evenings in a row and have only had one more night off since then. YIKES! The good news is that I am sleeping really well, better than I have my entire pregnancy- I hope it keeps up.
Going back to work has been fantastic. I love my job. I love my co-workers. I love my students. Enough said. We had a no-contact day at work yesterday and my co-workers threw me a surprise baby shower, they were beyond generous and I had a blast!!!
Last weekend we went to the “Incredible Edible Gluten Free Fair.” It was a pregnant gluten free woman’s paradise. 300+ vendors and just about all of them were giving away food. We walked out with grocery bags full of samples and very full bellies. Plus I found out that Rudi’s bread now makes a mostly Organic gluten-free bread that is the same size as regular sandwich bread. Rudi’s is a great local company and they have some fantastic business practices. http://www.rudisbakery.com/
Our Grant Family Farms CSA share has been really bountiful the last few weeks. And we’re now getting peaches and pears- yummy!!!!!!
We are 36 days away from our due date- I can’t even believe how fast the last several months have gone. There are still several things we need to do before baby arrives and a few more things we need to get but we’ve finished our childbirth and newborn care classes, gotten a Doula and done lots of reading. We feel prepared for the birth and to be parents. Pray for baby to come on time. Hopefully we’ll be getting everything sorted out for who will watch the little pumpkin in the next couple weeks as well. Here’s my most recent belly photo
I think those are all the updates I have for now…
Happy Labor Day and Happy Birthday to Heidi!!!!
