Leaffusion Review

I was recently sent one of these cute leaf fusion tea infusers in exchange for my honest review through Tomoson.

I drink a ton of loose leaf tea- I almost always have a cup of tea with me so I was excited about this. It is so cute and I love the little tray for draining it on.  one of my biggest pet peeves is tea dripping out of my infuser all over the place. Typically I make my tea in a glass pyrex container and then strain it.  When I travel and when I make kombucha I like to use infusers.

However, this infuser is small… it holds just under a tablespoon and the tea was so tightly packed in there that it didn’t really infuse.  I tried it with several different teas and my chamomile tea was so light that the infuser didn’t even sink to the bottom of my cup and I had to hold it.

I do like the nice long handle and it was easy to fill and empty.  This wouldn’t be something I use daily though because I like my tea to be able to have more space to move around.  I do love that it does not leak tea leaves out of the sides like some of the other styles do.   I will for sure take this with me on trips though when it’s not as easy to brew my tea.  I will also use this for brewing the tea for my kombucha.
